This version of Osiris in Double Cutaway DC Ambidextrous allows any guitarist to take full advantage of the exceptional qualities of this guitar!
Testable for both left-handed and right-handed players;
This version can be disassembled into 2 parts to take with you in your hand luggage;
For the beauty of flamed maple: the waves of maple, thanks to the luthier's ‘Burst’ finish, have silky reflections ranging from pearly beige to ‘Cherry’...
With the superb sound of the new P90 Maize Instruments.
The centre section has also been designed to add harmonic richness and sustain while limiting feedback.
You can test it left- or right-handed very quickly and without tools!
Why reversible?
First and foremost, it's a way for our workshop to help left-handed guitarists, who are so often overlooked, to take full advantage of its exceptional qualities;
For left-handed guitarists who choose this option at no extra cost, it means they can have their guitar tested / lent to their band / or more, if they so wish.
Finally, the ambidextrous or reversible Osiris DC can be a great choice of quality backline for a recording studio, for both left- and right-handed players.
How do you transform the Osiris guitar from right-handed to left-handed?
Thanks to the ‘fret 0’ + ‘string guide’ system, which replaces the saddle and makes it easy to switch from right-handed to left-handed, adding comfort to your playing:
Simply reverse the string guide and adjust the bridge.
The bridge is a Tunomatic, so adjustment is easy.
The double cutaway provides access to the treble for both left- and right-handed players.
All the selectors and potentiometers are located on the axle (central part) for left- and right-handed playing.
The changeover takes just 15 minutes, including Tunomatic adjustment and tuning!
Further away
What's more, this version opens up other possibilities:
It is of course possible for luthiers to make Osiris DC in 4 parts, still left-handed/right-handed and modular!
In 2 parts, the bodies could also be interchanged. The neck remains a ‘constant’.
