About Ligérie Guitares
Ligérie was born in 2016 on the initiative of two industrial designer friends, rock enthusiasts and amateur luthiers in their spare time. It was in the Orléans area that the workshop was set up and grew, and today Clément, head luthier since the beginning, has found his new home in Marseille since the summer of 2023.
From the outset, the brief was to offer instruments at the right price without compromising on quality and durability. To achieve this, there's no miracle recipe, but optimized design, finely selected materials and fine tuning.
The use of French woods has always been a matter of course, as the region abounds in species of undeniable quality: alder, ash, maple, walnut, cherry and other fruit woods are among the woods of choice found on Ligerie guitars and basses. The pickups are entrusted to other French craftsmen, gurus of electromagnetism, and chosen for their ability to bring out all the subtleties of lutherie.
Gamay, Sauvignon, Othello, Lenoir, Noa... the names of the models are a tribute to French wine heritage. Two ranges are available: Brut for authenticity, Grand Cru for sophistication. New models will soon be added to the range.
Nearly 100 instruments have already been brought to life since the beginning of the adventure, and partner artists such as Nelson Martins (Skip The Use), Fred Duquesne (Mass Hysteria) and Linda Battilani (Halflives) are responsible for getting them screaming on the biggest stages.
