LED ZEPPELIN LA TOTALE - Les 94 chansons expliquées
Réf. LED ZEPPELINMade by : La librairie du Rock
Born in the fall of 1968 on the burning embers of the Yardbirds, Led Zeppelin flew over the world of rock throughout the 1970s. More than that, it pursued the dream of a whole generation after the traumatic separation of the Beatles. Blues rock, folk rock, hard rock, prog rock... the quartet's music has many facets. It has written the future of rock'n'roll, while plunging its roots in the blues and ancestral traditions of the British Isles, such as the ballad.
The lyrics, music, and arrangements of the group's 94 songs are analyzed in depth, relying for the most part on interviews with the band members at the time the albums were recorded, but also on the testimonies of the producers and sound engineers who accompanied them in their musical quest.
Led Zeppelin, la totale opens the door to the recording studios, from Olympic Sound Studios in London to Polar Studios in Stockholm and reveals the importance and diversity of the instruments used; in a word teems with always singular anecdotes that will fascinate all Zeppelin Addicts.
