Orange Boost

The Orange Boost is the most vintage overdrive in the ALH Effects line. Inspired by a classic overdrive from the late 60's used by Jeff Beck and David Gilmour, it is very versatile. Clean Boost, Overdrive, Fuzz, nothing stops it. Its gain control gives it a very wide range of saturation levels. It can be used alone or combined with other saturation effects. Its two-band equalizer is perfectly suited for guitar, with precise bass and sparkling highs. We've enhanced the original scheme with a Master Volume to take advantage of its qualities in any context. All this versatility could mean a lambda effect, but it doesn't! The Orange Boost uses Fuzz transistors, it's these transistors that give this effect an authentic character in any configuration.

The Orange Boost is a true-bypass pedal that works with a 9vDC power supply (negative center) for a 15mA consumption. You can also use it with 18vDC if you want to get more headroom. It is handmade by us in our workshop in Nantes. Do not hesitate to contact us by the contact form for any question.
