Starting Gun

What could be more vintage than an analog Fuzz? A simple, ultra-efficient scheme, and you're off for a time jump to the dark side of the moon. This pedal inspired by the most famous fuzz has been "Gilmourized" by us to give it even more character. We were inspired by the modifications made to David Gilmour's 1977 fuzz on his Animals pedalboard. It uses two original BC109 silicon transistors, providing a touch of extra gain and sustain. We've also added a Tone control to bring versatility to this legendary effect, inspired by the work done on the famous guitarist's fuzz.

The Starting Gun is a true-bypass pedal that runs on a 9vDC power supply (negative center) for a 4mA consumption. It is handmade by us in our workshop in Nantes. Feel free to contact us through the contact form for any question.
