About United Guitars

United Guitars is a collection of "guitar-oriented" instrumental albums initiated in 2019 by Ludovic Egraz (guitarist and editor-in-chief of Guitare Xtreme Magazine) and Olivia Rivasseau (producer, director of the label Mistiroux Productions). The concept is unique: establish a line-up of (about) thirty guitarists/composers from horizons (stage sidemen, studio session men, internet content creators, band members), and to bring them into a professional environment to record in very good conditions, in a real studio, with a real sound engineer, putting at their disposal experienced session musicians (drummers, bass players). The project is based around a core group of guitarists, including Youri De Groote, Yoann Kempst, Jean Fontanille, Saturax, François Tuphé, Julien Bitoun, Swan Vaude, Régis Savigny, Richard Daudé, Nico Chona and many others. To date, United Guitars has released 3 double albums, which also feature such prestigious world class players as Gus G. (Ozzy Osbourne/Firewind), Doug Aldrich (Dio, Whitesnake, Dead Daisies), Mark Lettieri (Snarky Puppy), Popa Chubby, George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob, KXM), Frank Gambale (Chick Corea Elektric band) or the Norwegian Tora.
