ore than half a century after its appearance, Magma's music never ceases to enchant the planet. The release at the end of last year of the album Kãrtëhl is the occasion to discover Jimmy Top, talented offspring of a certain Jannick Top to whom we owe one of the most beautiful bass scores with the track "De Futura", keystone of the album Üdü Ẁüdü (1976). This time, it's Jimmy's turn to bring his stone to the Magma building. Against all odds, the formidable power trio The Winery Dogs returned to the forefront and filled the halls once again.

More than half a century after its appearance, Magma's music does not stop enchanting the planet. In this ideal setting, Billy Sheehan, always associated with virtuoso drummer Mike Portnoy and guitarist Richie Kotzen, pours out his incendiary bass lines and conveys his legendary enthusiasm to the readers in a generous interview granted at the beginning of the year. The bass world is in full swing with the consecration of Clay Gober and his band Polyphia, determined to break all codes with their avant-garde metal / R&B, pushing the sophistication of their art to the extreme. Closer to home, Pierre Elgrishi brings the bass back to the forefront in Clara Luciani's pop / disco, while Adrien Kah propels the riffs of the French-English guitarist and singer Laura Cox into the upper echelons of heavy rock tinged with blues.
