Dear Readers, First of all, the most important thing: we hope from the bottom of our hearts that you and your loved ones have taken all the necessary steps to stay healthy in the face of this pesky coronavirus. Many of you are not aware of the other side of the story, but Batterie Magazine, Guitare Xtreme Magazine, Bassiste Magazine and Guitare Sèche Le Mag are newspapers published by B.G.O., a press company born in 2004, which has suffered, like many other structures, this health crisis. The market of the specialized press is fragile and if we have held on for so long, it is because, like you, we are above all passionate. So we're weathering this storm by holding on tight to the helm of our little ship. As you may have noticed, we have unfortunately been confronted with publication interruptions since April 2020....

Dear Readers,
First of all, the most important thing: we hope with all our heart that you and your loved ones have taken all the necessary measures to stay healthy against this damn coronavirus. The market of the specialized press is fragile and if we hold on for so long, it is because, like you, we are above all passionate. So we're weathering this storm by holding on tight to the helm of our little ship. As you may have noticed, we have unfortunately been confronted with publication interruptions since April 2020. With printers and postal services operating at a standstill, and bookstores and newsstands being inaccessible, we could not ignore these heavy consequences on the sale of a magazine. Not to mention the fall of the giant Presstalis, the French press distribution company, which was placed in judicial liquidation at the same time! A big blow after 16 years of uninterrupted publication...
We would like to thank you for the many messages of sympathy we received on our social networks and for your tremendous support following the opening of the Leetchi fund which allowed us to face the economic difficulties that inevitably follow from this context.
Of course, we have gathered all our efforts to face this unprecedented situation, first by setting up a new digital solution more efficient and accessible, which has allowed many of you to read us digitally during this quarantine (more info on batteriemagazine.com)
For those of you who follow us on Facebook, you have been able to appreciate every day on our page, the "special containment" videos sent by our readers from all over the world, or this unforgettable master class offered live by a Nicolas Viccaro at the top of his form.
We also took advantage of this context to launch our Podcast "Echoes & Icons" in which we will give the floor to a different drummer every month. On the program: news, discussions, influences, advice to progress on the drums and manage your career... The first two episodes are already online (with Swanny Elzingre and Mario Duplantier as guests). To listen to it, go to Spotify, Deezer, Castbox, Pocket Casts or batteriemagazine.lepodcast.fr.
Enough blabla! If you're holding this magazine in your hands (or if you're reading this on your screen), you have the proof that Batterie Magazine is back, in a new format! We hope to be able to share our passion with you for a long time to come, in spite of the storm that is hovering over our heads and that seems to be determined to continue... Take care of yourself.
