Depending on the perspective we choose, reality appears different. It is good, especially in these times when certainties are dangerous, to be able to adopt the point of view of the other, if only to try, at least, to understand him. Our art being based all the same a little on our capacity to suggest empathy in the listener, as well by the music as by the words, in the case of song, it is undoubtedly a good remedy to the ambient mood...

Depending on the perspective one chooses, reality appears different to us. It is good, especially in these times when certainties are dangerous, to be able to adopt the point of view of the other, if only to try, at least, to understand him. Our art is based on our ability to suggest empathy in the listener, as much by music as by words, in the case of song, it is undoubtedly a good remedy to the ambient mood.
In the same way, it can be interesting to hear two sides of the same story: that's what we offer by discovering the crossed or alternating interviews of Mike Dawes and Tommy Emmanuel, then JerryDouglas, the master of the resonator, and John Hiatt, one of the greatest songwriters of the planet. Two sides also from the same company, with two instruments coming from Gibson / Epiphone: the signature model Noel Gallagher (which would have things to say to us on the truths with two faces) and an affordable twelve-string.
Finally, let yourself be tempted by our scores, including a very nice introduction to tapping by Omaid Paienda, a new blues lesson by Thomas Hammje, different versions of the same Irish theme by Dylan Malidor, the electric side of Django dissected by François Hégron and a detour to Brazil with Benjamin Guillet.
For those who don't want to miss the next six issues, think about finding out about our low-cost subscription offer on page 70 ;-)
