The last guitar hero born from rock'n'roll is Saul Hudson aka Slash, the last of the mohicans, the last to push the volume of his Jubilee Marshall heads up to 11 and to live his dream under adrenaline, without a net and without in ears monitors. Slash is the last that went down to hell and come back and the first to be made immortal by a video game. From Guns N' Roses to Slash's Snakepit from Velvet Revolver, not to mention his "golden collabs" with Lenny Kravitz, Alice Cooper and Michael Jackson, the man with the top hat has initiated thousands of vocations. He also helped to sold containers of Gibson Les Paul, a funny detail since he fired the cannon fuse at the time of Appetite For Destruction playing with a copy. Today, he has collected a king's ransom thanks to the massive work he has done, and he could easily retired, like so many other rock stars who preferred to put on their slippers and let it go. But Slash continues to hit the road for the love of this music and with a desire to grind the axe that stills as visceral, and does not hesitate to walk on the razor's edge and put himself in danger as with this fourth solo album. entitled 4, recorded at the RCA studio in Nashville on analog tapes, and which he captured live in the mythical live room surrounded by his Conspirators. You have to have a hell of a pair of balls to get out of your comfort zone after 35 years of career. In order to celebrate this event with him, we wanted to offer him our cover, but not just anyhow: we called Nicolas Riera, alias Niko Slash, the YouTuber from Grenoble who recorded absolutely all the songs of his idol, and we asked him to interview Slash for Xtreme Guitar. The two men know each other, respect each other and have established a relationship of trust. An absolutely unique moment that we are happy to share with you.
