Over the past fifteen years, we have seen more and more enthusiasts embark on the adventure of crafting and boutique instruments. The technical documentation available for free online on specialized forums or on YouTube has opened the floodgates, new brands are flourishing and, whether it's about lutherie, amplification or the design and manufacture of effects or accessories, these new creative craftsmen are full of ideas.

Over the past fifteen years, we have seen more and more enthusiasts embark on the adventure of crafting and boutique instruments. The technical documentation available for free online on specialized forums or on YouTube has opened the floodgates, new brands are flourishing and, whether it's lutherie, amplification or the design and manufacture of effects or accessories, these new creative craftsmen are teeming with ideas. Better still, they manage to arouse the interest of the public with a high general level of quality and with proposals that are exciting enough to compete with equipment from England and the USA, which is often more expensive and not necessarily more efficient. Moreover, the world has changed in a very short time. The Covid period and a general awareness of the climatic and economic issues have led us to transform our way of consuming. Buying local and qualitative, re-establishing proximity links between manufacturers and musicians, valuing work and authenticity... These notions are clearly coming back in the air and we can see it during guitar shows, which are also growing like mushrooms. Another factor: the market of made in France and alternative brands, still immature a few years ago, is consolidating and structuring itself, notably with the initiative of The Guitar Division, which federates and accompanies manufacturers in terms of marketing and works hard to weave a network between them and dealers, in order to boost and fluidify commercial exchanges. Last year, Guitar Xtreme took the gamble of being made in France with a first special edition. Your feedback was so positive that we are doing it again at the beginning of this year with a lot of enthusiasm. We hope that this number 2 will arouse your curiosity, will make you proud of our know-how and will give you the desire to invest in a rig made in France. Happy
