Berg's double cut
This is our only model with a symmetrical body. There's no doubting its imposing physique.
Its body width is greater than that of our other guitars, which in ergonomic terms allows the right hand to be positioned closer to the bridge.
Because a Queen should set an example, she does everything possible to respect the environment.
The double P90 configuration of the early 60's or the double PAF humbucker are obvious, but adding a single pickup in the middle position, as a certain Alvin Lee did, is an option we like to offer.
And, surprising as it may seem, our Queen is French.
As with the body, our neck is torrefied in-house. This stabilizes the wood and enhances its sound quality.
The C-profile is generous, in the style of the late 50s. It is both present and comfortable, ideal for playing all night long without tiring.
Its radius is 9.5mm for optimum adjustment.
In this photo, the two pickups are PAFs, with all components identical to the originals, and a dynamic, harmonic sound. We're particularly fond of the Fullbucker version, which is beefier, warmer and more responsive.
Excellence continues with the ABR1 brass ms58-style gold bridge, handmade by Halon craftsman. It provides remarkable vibration transfer and further enhances the guitar's resonance.
The tuners are Schaller Grand Tune for greater precision and elegance.
Our pickguards are made from a patented bio-composite material.
This material, in addition to being natural, gives us an elegant and graphic style that is unique and immediately recognizable.
THE APOGEE
The Apogée is our Queen. She loves to wear her golden fittings and the best possible components. Woods, pickups, bridge, tuners, pickguard, paints and varnishes are all top-of-the-range. Generously shaped for a solid body, it has the confidence of a semi hollowbody. This is our only model with a symmetrical body. There's no doubting its imposing physique.

THE BODY
The body is made of quarter-sawn French spruce, carefully selected for its lightness, strength and measured resonance coefficient. We roast it to give it the maturity found in much older guitars.THE HANDLE
The neck is made of French maple. It is selected for its mechanical and acoustic qualities. The fingerboard is French walnut, but not just any walnut! It's dense, dark-veined and patterned. As with the body, our neck is torrefied in-house. This stabilizes the wood and enhances its sound quality.

PICKUPS AND BRIDGES
Making an exceptional pickup is akin to haute couture. Each mic is unique, because all its components are handcrafted! Our pickups are made exclusively by HEPCAT PICKUPS®, a French expert and pioneer in the manufacture of vintage pickups. We work hand in hand, and you can hear it!In this photo, the two pickups are PAFs, with all components identical to the originals, and a dynamic, harmonic sound. We're particularly fond of the Fullbucker version, which is beefier, warmer and more responsive.

THE HEAD
The headstock is plated in the same color as the body ("matching headstock"). This is one of our signatures. The tuners are Schaller Grand Tune for greater precision and elegance.
NATURAL PAINTS/VARNISHES AND PICKGUARD
Our 100% natural paints and varnishes offer intense colors and a supple, light finish for an instrument that breathes and lives. The finesse and delicacy of our recipes give our guitars an ageing and patina specific to the BERG® identity. Our pickguards are made from a patented bio-composite material.
