THE LINE

Its aesthetics are unique, with a narrow, slender body and a splendid pickguard.

And for such a racy beast, nothing is too good: the woods, pickups, bridge, tuners, pickguard, paints and varnishes are all of the highest quality.
And what can we say about its lightness? A feather that delivers riffs and solos of madness.

This Feline is also sensitive to environmental issues, and stops at nothing when it comes to protecting our planet.
We particularly like the bite of this Feline in its simplest configuration, with a single pickup in bridge position for an ode to the wilderness that lurks within us all. But to tell you the truth, the double mini-humbucker version also makes us fall in love with the agility it brings and that equally mythical sound.

THE BODY

The body is made of quarter-sawn French spruce, carefully selected for its lightness, strength and resonance coefficient, as measured by us.
We roast it to give it the maturity found in much older guitars.

THE HANDLE

The neck is made of French maple. It is selected for its mechanical and acoustic qualities. The fingerboard is French walnut, but not just any walnut! It's dense, dark-veined and patterned.
As with the body, our neck is torrefied in-house. This stabilizes the wood and enhances its sound quality.
The C-profile is generous, in the style of the late 50s. It is both present and comfortable, ideal for playing all night long without tiring.
Its radius is 9.5mm for optimum adjustment.

PICKUPS AND BRIDGES

Making an exceptional pickup is akin to haute couture. Each mic is unique, because all its components are handcrafted! Our pickups are made exclusively by HEPCAT PICKUPS®, a French expert and pioneer in the manufacture of vintage pickups. We work hand in hand, and you can hear it!
The addition of a bypass (on/off switch) enables the pickup to be connected directly to the output without passing through the potentiometers, and frees up the pure signal from the pickup. This generates a natural "Boost" effect without the need for an active preamp.
It's hard to find a more high-end instrument than the ms58 short double-bridge brass vintage Tele bridge, handmade by Halon craftsmen. With "top load" strings, it provides remarkable vibration transfer and makes the guitar much more responsive.

THE HEAD

The headstock veneer is the same color as the body ("matching headstock"). It's one of our signatures.
The tuners are Schaller Grand Tune for greater precision and elegance.

NATURAL PAINTS/VARNISHES AND PICKGUARD

Our 100% natural paints and varnishes offer intense colors and a light, supple finish for an instrument that breathes and lives. The finesse and delicacy of our recipes give our guitars an ageing and patina specific to the BERG® identity.

Our pickguards are made from a patented bio-composite material.
This material, in addition to being natural, gives us an elegant and graphic style that is unique and immediately recognizable.

If you want to take advantage of other types of neck pickups, we offer a choice of pre-equipped pickguards (pickups and wiring) that your instrument is already ready to receive. Quick and easy to install, they allow your guitar to adapt in no time to your every whim, giving you the sound you're looking for.
