About Da Capo

Da capo is an Italian musical term that means "from the beginning". It is often abbreviated as D.C. The term is a directive to repeat the previous part of music, often used to save space. In small pieces, this might be the same thing as a repeat. But in larger works, D.C. might occur after one or more repeats of small sections, indicating a return to the very beginning.

Here at Da Capo we can find a lot of inspiration from this definition. 

Revisiting passages of history and bringing them to the present, that’s what we are all about. We do not seek to revolutionize but to improve incrementally.

Our first product, the GT Deluxe is a fine example of this. We studied the great amp designs we all love so much and adapted them to the needs of the modern player. We were not afraid to venture in to newer technologies, but we made sure not to lose the pure soul of great amp design. 


More than a company!

Our goals go beyond building great products and making a profit, we are on a social endeavour to interact in a peer to peer relation with our customers, and as we grow (hopefully…) the people we work with. We want to help everybody find balance and joy in their life and enjoy the privilege of being a part of that process. At Da Capo we’re all about celebrating people, in all diversitiy and colour!


So hopefully we’ll be seeing each other soon and experience some inspirational, musical moments.
