OSIRIS Stray'Notes
You could imagine it as a modular instrument, but this time we've designed it more for travelling. With potentios at the bottom of the body, it's ideal for violin playing on stage!
It's up to you... if you want this model in modular form, i.e. in 4 parts, why not mix it with another P90 centre part for a different kind of rock?
Or simply as a 1/4 drum, in ISIS inspired by Osiris, with a glued neck.
The Rockab' sound
Let's talk about the sound, and more specifically the pickups.
Another collaboration with a craftsman like us, as close as possible in this case here in Europe. Admittedly a little further away, since it's in Italy, but the sound offered was just right for this model. The art of reconciling everything: quality, craftsmanship and the best possible proximity.
It's a set of Filtertrons pickups made by Dreamsong Pickups, and all you need to do is listen to them... At guitar shows, soon on Youtube and at our workshop in Bordeaux by appointment only!
The finish
All natural on a walnut body, enhanced by the hard oil we've been using for over 25 years!
Neither single nor double threading, but an in-between to ‘spice up’ this model and get close to the Gretsch idea.
Other finishes are available on request, see the options on the Osiris range page.
Not forgetting our values
When you choose our guitars, you choose craftsmanship made in France, and sometimes in Europe (for certain pickups with special specs that we can't find in France).
In the same way that you choose to work with us, we work with partners who are as local as possible, particularly when it comes to local wood: we work mainly with Bois de Lutherie, a supplier of local wood in France.
In the spirit of sustainability, our choice to make guitars in 1/4-body or semi-hollow construction meets the need to use as little wood as possible. In the workshop in general, we maximise the use of noble, local raw materials.
Similarly, our cabin luggage is made to measure by Luxbag in Loir-et-Cher, a Living Heritage company.
