From the outset, the use of French woods was an obvious choice for Ligerie. The region abounds in riches: alder, ash, maple, walnut, cherry and other fruit woods are among the species of choice used for their acoustic qualities. The pickups, meanwhile, are entrusted to other French craftsmen, experts in electromagnetism, and chosen to reveal all the subtleties of lutherie.

Models inspired by French heritage

Ligerie guitars and basses are named after French grape varieties: Gamay, Sauvignon, Othello, Lenoir, Noa... Ligerie offers two distinct ranges: Brut for lovers of authenticity and Grand Cru for those seeking sophistication and refinement. This innovative approach is not limited to aesthetics: each instrument is designed as a unique piece, incorporating French history and know-how.

A growing reputation

In less than ten years, the Ligerie workshop has produced almost 100 instruments, and renowned artists such as Nelson Martins (Skip The Use), Fred Duquesne (Mass Hysteria) and Linda Battilani (Halflives) are already making these guitars resound on the biggest stages. These collaborations confirm Ligerie's commitment to designing instruments that transcend musical styles.
