The Silex is a Clean Boost whose gain level can be controlled by foot with a rollerball. Using patented Cellular Clipping™ technology, the Silex is the most transparent Clean Boost ever designed. Unlike alternative technologies, such as JFET-based clean boosts for example, the Silex adds absolutely no coloration to your sound, so when set to minimum, it behaves exactly like a buffer.
Connect the Silex upstream of your amp or the drive section of your pedalboard, and adjust the gain level of your gear in real time!

Play with your feet
Thanks to its roller, the Silex's gain can be adjusted on the fly like you would with an expression pedal. Its knurled surface gives it a high level of grip which allows for easy handling with the foot. In order to know the position of the roller at all times, a helical groove has been added. The position of the groove on the scale of the case allows to read the gain level of the pedal.

Listen to the silence...
The Silex is equipped with high quality electronics, carefully selected so that no background noise is perceptible, even on high gain amps.
A configurable switching system, combining both the silence of buffered bypass and the transparency of relay bypass, ensures that no switching noise is noticeable when the pedal changes state. Two switching modes are available: relay bypass or buffered bypass. The configuration can be done with the internal DIP switch.

Use the roller in all serenity...
The Silex has a soft switch to engage and disengage the effect. When using the roller, or activating the neighboring pedals, there is a risk of unintentionally pressing the Silex's switch and thus cutting the effect, potentially at the worst possible moment... For users who want to make sure that the Silex is never switched accidentally, a DIP switch inside the pedal allows to switch to a double-click switch. This means that to engage and disengage the effect you will now have to press the soft switch twice quickly, which for a normal person never happens accidentally.
