Tripeldoo - Préampli

All our Vaudoo Audio preamplifiers will give your bass or guitar a new voice. They are intended for bass and guitar players who would like to have an extremely precise control of their sound, from their instrument.

Simple installation

Our products are delivered "ready to integrate": configured, wired and supplied with all mounting accessories.
Powered by a Power Block: a simple cable to plug in.
Powered by 1 or 2 9V batteries: wired to the jack and the battery, like a classic preamp.

Perfect compatibility

All our Vaudoo-Audio preamplifiers are universal and compatible with all types of bass and guitar.
They have an adjustable input gain stage, which allows to adapt to all types of microphones.

High quality sound

Our preamplifiers take advantage of the onboard power source (Power Block or 9V battery) to offer you an enhanced sound experience and audio quality comparable to an external preamp.
They are configured to become totally transparent when the knobs are at zero, in order to respect the character of your microphones.

The unique feature of our preamps is that the midrange bands can be adapted to your style:
By default, this can be modified from the card, but it is also possible to use an external switch, either in the configurations offered or added as an accessory (see below).

List of selectable medium frequencies (on the card or via an external switch):
300 Hz, 400 Hz, 800 Hz, 2.3 kHz.

The frequencies recommended by Vaudoo :

- 300 Hz:  "ROUDNESS"
 Strengthens the lower part of the spectrum, in addition to the bass. Very appreciated by the «green-yellow-red» musicians, but also by some rockers a little fat... 

- 800 Hz:  « FREQUENCY TO SHARE » 
Feeling a bit lost in the mix? Just turn up that frequency (instead of competing for volume...) and there you go, you can be heard! Didn't work? 
That means another musician is already occupying that frequency... so lower it and you can add a little volume back into the rest of the spectrum
(without encouraging the others to compete...). 
800Hz is also the frequency that best suits fretless and worth attenuating on funk and heavy guitars. 

- 2.3 kHz:  « SLAPPING » 
Brings out the percussive side, complementing the ‘brilliance’ of the trebles. Highly appreciated for slap or pick playing. 
It is also this frequency that I recommend, instead of the trebles, in my ‘metal’ configurations. 

Other available frequencie:
400 Hz (low mids): Frequency found on other preamps (Aguilar®)

WHAT YOU NEED FOR STANDARD OPERATION AND WHICH IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE KIT: 
- Power supply - Power source (power block, 9V battery, etc.) and cut-off (jack, switch, etc.).
- Volume and pickup switch
- Potentiometer and rotative switch knob

POSSIBLE CUSTOMISATIONS ON REQUEST (at no extra charge):
- cable length: 10 cm (standard), 8 cm, 15 cm, other
- direction of rotation: right-handed (standard) or left-handed

- KB01 - PP3 battery contact (for 9V battery) to be wired yourself
- N409 - Cable wired with PP3 contacts for 1 x 9V battery
- N418 - Cable wired with PP3 contacts for 2 x 9V batteries in series (18V system)
- S005 - 2-frequency toggle switch
- S006 - 3-frequency toggle switch
- S007 - 3-frequency rotative switch
- Single metal potentiometer knobs: black, chrome or gold
- Double (stacked) metal potentiometer knobs: black or chrome
