About Bourbon Strap Guitar
My name is Pascual Martínez and my passion for music begins with my first record player, which was a gift from my parents at my first communion; since then I have not stopped collecting records and dreaming of knowing their authors and imitating them with the guitar.
Perhaps the rebelliousness of not wanting those horrendous straps from one of the most famous guitar brands in the world (and in those years maybe the only one), was what made me make my first strap for my Suzuki Les Paul model back in 1979-1980.
It was in 2009 when my fever to play the guitar again and seeing that the market was still stagnant thirty years before, I took advantage of all my experience of a life dedicated to the world of leather and fashion in all its branches making models that are still in force for its beauty and because customers continue to request them for their new guitars.
Even so, in these years, logically our products have changed in appearance and quality, the straps are manufactured with natural materials and according to the legislation established by the Common European Framework.
They are comfortable so that you don't suffer wearing them, providing you with a distinctive touch with respect to the rest, from our "simply" models, through the coolness of our authentic "American conchos" that will remind you of the far away Western, or our Velvet models that recall the original spirit of the 60's of the last century to the funniest and craziest designs of our textile models. There is a model so that every guitarist has the opportunity to choose the style that best suits his style of music or even the color of his shirt.
