The body and neck are both made from French ash, giving the instrument a lively, responsive character with plenty of acoustic presence. There’s a natural snap and openness in the attack, with a tight low end and airy highs. The rosewood fingerboard adds warmth and balance, keeping the overall tone musical and controlled.

The finish is sober and textured, letting the wood speak without unnecessary flash. It’s a guitar that feels alive in the hands, with an immediate connection between player and instrument.

At the heart of the electronics is a TV Jones Starwood humbucker. This pickup stands apart from typical humbuckers: lower output, very articulate, with a bright and organic voice. It sits somewhere between a single coil and a humbucker, offering clarity, definition, and a wide dynamic range. It reacts extremely well to picking nuances and volume adjustments.

The wiring stays true to a straightforward and reliable approach, using Alpha potentiometers and the same proven components as my other builds. No unnecessary complexity—just an efficient, musical control layout.

Kluson tuners ensure stable tuning, and the bone nut provides precise string definition and sustain.
