At AMI Effects, we like to design pedals that bring something new to the world of guitar effects. We like to offer versatile pedals without sacrificing sound quality.
The Old School Universal Fuzz was no exception to the usual lengthy design process, only this time we had the invaluable advice and keen ear of Joris, author of the Overdrive Familly website, who brought his experience and vision to bear on designing the perfect fuzz we had in mind.
Don't let its vintage look fool you, the Old School Universal Fuzz has more than one trick up its sleeve. It pays homage to its big sisters from the 60's, but also offers plenty of extra sounds. Thanks to its hybrid Germanium and Silicon construction, it can be adapted to many different amp/guitar configurations and musical styles.
