While Ace Amplification is a new brand of amps (it was created in 2017), its founder François-Xavier Defaut also founded Fx Amplification nearly 10 years ago designing and manufacturing boutique amps known for their quality, reliability and technical features. At Ace Amplification, Fx builds amps with the same expertise and quality, all made by hand with custom components sourced from Europe and with the same finish quality as well.
The Ace amps offer all the modern functionality for the actual guitarists who are looking for amps that are easy to use and to carry, and can perform in every situation thanks to their lunchbox format, their light weight as well as optimized controls and connections.
Ace amps feature a unique Class-A operation system with an ideal power of 20 Watts making them powerful enough to use on stage or at home, thanks to innovations already found on Fx amps like the 2 Watt mode and the Ultralinear master allowing to precisely adjust the amp's volume.
The included EL34 tubes can easily be replaced by 6L6 tubes, both tubes being used on the most renowned amps to reproduce the best guitar sounds even at low volume. Thanks to the no-Bias feature, the tubes can be replaced without the need for calibration, which is an undeniable ease of use and maintenance cost saving.
