About JEUDY AMPLIFICATION
Founder Julien Jeudy:
With a BTS in electrical engineering and a bachelor's degree in industrial maintenance, I'm passionate about electrical engineering and electronics, and my professional career is still in electrical maintenance in the steel industry. I'm also passionate about music, and it was in 2008 that I started playing guitar, with the creation of my first amp: the King Reverb, a LF base which, from the very first notes, made me want to go further...
I then developed my business in the repair and restoration of guitar amps, and have carried out over 400 interventions on all brands of amps, which has enabled me to acquire expertise in the field.
For me, amplifier design is the most exciting part of my work, and I've created over 40 models of original, innovative custom amplifiers, inspired by legendary vintage models but not limited to them, with innovative research to adapt them to the needs of today's musicians or those looking for special tones.
Every detail counts, inside and out:
The cabinet-making business came about quite quickly at the start of my business, and I immediately had the desire and need to make custom carpentry. I've developed a passion for woodworking, and I build each cabinet with care, using solid wood and traditional assembly techniques.
The amplifiers are wired in a point-to-point process, using "eyelett board" or "turret board" type plates with lugs made in the workshop, which ensure unequalled robustness compared with electronic circuits, and ease of maintenance.
Electronic components such as tubes, loudspeakers, capacitors etc. are scrupulously selected to offer you an incomparable sound experience and great reliability.
The transformers converting the power supplies and signals are one of the main parts of the amplifier, so I have chosen to have them custom-made to the specifications necessary for the best electrical and audio performance. The transformers are made by a winding specialist in England.
From custom-made to the original Jeudy amplifier range:
I'm particularly proud to present today the debut of the Jeudy Amplification boutique amplifier range, with the Harmonics and Jennings models. It's the fruit of a unique design and research experience with custom creations made over the last 15 years in the workshop. For me, these amps have a unique character that will make you enjoy your instruments the way you've always dreamed of.
