The 1990s and early 2000s were dominated by a new wave of young talent from the British Isles. It all began with The Stone Roses; their legacy was soon taken up by two of the most iconic rival bands of all time (Blur and Oasis), and many others followed in their footsteps with the new Britpop movement spearheaded by bands such as Franz Ferdinand and Arctic Monkeys. And we ask ourselves: would these bands have existed had it not been for The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Queen, the Sex Pistols...? A tribute to one of the most important cradles of international pop-rock.
