SKULL STRINGS is the brand of the company TOLITO (1993), created in 2004 and entirely dedicated to Metal and Extreme Music. Its creator, Carlos Pavicich, a former professional bass player, has always taken great care of his sound.

In the 90's, as the owner of several music stores in Lorraine, Carlos tried for a long time to find the right solutions for all those musicians who were tirelessly looking for the sets that corresponded to them.
Far from letting his music be dictated by standardized technical constraints, and as a man of solutions, the idea of SKULL STRINGS was born. After a decade of research and testing, the first range of SKULL STRINGS was born, the DROP range; the others followed.
Pioneers in the Drop, Low Tuning and Custom and Extreme Tension ranges, our work is not only to spin very high quality strings, but even more to find solutions adapted to the needs, always more specific, of musicians. Our job is to take the worries of technical constraints out of the musician's mind.
